Top 5 Biggest Football Stadiums in the World

It is said that if football was a nation, it would be the largest nation in the world. With such a massive fan-base it is only natural that the biggest and most well capitalized clubs in the world will require equally massive arenas to house their armies of supporters, and to put on the kind of show that is demanded of them. Football stadiums are today the pre-eminent "Arena Experience" in the world, and we have made a list of the 5 biggest stadiums in the world as measured by seating capacity.

 1. Rungrado May Day Stadium – 150,000 – Pyongyang, North Korea:
Also known as Kim-11 Sung Stadium, Rungrado is located in Pyongyang North Korea, and is billed as the biggest stadium in the world. It boasts a massive seat capacity of about 150,000 moreover this multi purpose facility was built in 1989 with it being largely used for sports and national events such as Military parades during National celebration.
The Rungrado stadium resembles a blossomed flower in design; constituting 16 arches arranged within a circle and in 1995 the stadium broke attendance record in recent history when 190,000 fans crammed into the arena to watch a professional wrestling match.

 2. Salt Lake Stadium – 120,000 – Bidhannagar, Kolkata, India:

European heavy weights Manchester United played at the stadium as part of their pre-season tour of Asia in front of a sizeable crowd of 40,000. Sir Alex Ferguson’s team went up against a Malaysia XI in the Bukit Jalil, the Red Devils eventually emerging 3-2 victors with Michael Owen scoring a late winner. The stadium is clearly a world class venue and, by hosting the likes of Manchester United and other major European teams, is increasing its global exposure and building on its already impeccable reputation.

 5. Camp Nou- 98,772 - (Barcelona, Spain):
Opened in 1957 as a symbol of Catalan nationalism, Barcelona’s Camp Nou is one of the most striking football grounds in the world and emblematic of the unique Catalan culture and a regional identity.

FC Barcelona announced plans for the modernisation and further expansion of the Camp Nou in celebration of the stadium’s fiftieth anniversary. The stadium will have its capacity increased to over 112,000.

7 Most Terrifying Places Ever

If you're easily spooked out then this is not for you. If the very mention of 'scary' and haunting' sends chills down your spine then you may not have the stomach to make it to the end of this article. Here's a list of some of the scariest and most terrifying places to be.

1. Aokigahara Forest (Japan):

Aokigahara, a forest situated at the base of Mount Fuji in Japan, is the resting place of more than 500 people. These people were not victim of any calamity but orchestrated their own deaths through suicide by hanging themselves from the boughs of the Aokigahara greenery. The forest is known to be so thick that even at peak sunshine hours, the place is blanketed with darkness. A popular author Seicho Matsumoto published a novel called Kuroi Kaiju where two of his characters commit suicide there which sparked the trend of self-inflicted deaths.
The place is scattered with decomposed bodies and readily available nooses from previous suicides. There are even signboards displaying encouraging messaged such as, "Think of Your Family" and "Life is a precious thing! Please reconsider!"

2. Borley Rectory (Sadbury, UK):

A love story gone awry, Borley Rectory is known to house the ghosts of a nun and monk who commit the forbidden act of falling in love. The so-called nun tried to elope with the monk and were both quickly tracked down. The monk faced his demise at the hands of the outraged and the nun was bricked up in the cellars of the monastery. 3. Winchester Mystery House (California, USA):

This intimidating structure sprawls over a 160-room complex built as a death trap with secret passages, dead ends, long hallways, doors opening to walls and staircases leading to ceilings. Sarah Winchester, a widow, was told by a medium that her house was haunted by the ghosts of it's ancestors and if she didn't continue building she would die. This scary prediction and her grief over the death of her husband and daughter drove her to create this madhouse. The place was like a pyramid designed to have ghosts lose their way within it's walls. However, the likelihood that some poor human would lose their way and starve within the confines of this house, not being able to find their way out, was higher. Indeed, making it a terrifying place to visit.

This radioactive nest gives you the creeps immediately with it's eerie abandoned look.
The place is dead save the strewn belongings of previous inhabitants and a big ferris wheel that nobody uses giving you the sense that something is lurking within the shadows. While the city is open to people, by an announcement from the governement that the radioactive levels have gone down (because a little radioactivity is okay!), it's not top on the list of places to travel to.

Whoa! Six-kilogram baby born in Germany

Oh baby, this is probably among the biggest of them all.

In Germany, a woman has given birth to the country's largest baby--and it was supposedly via a normal delivery.

The baby named Jasleen, weighs more than six kilograms, and was delivered at the University Hospital in Leipzig, Yahoo! 7 NewsAustralia quoted German site Die Welt as saying.

"At 6.1kg and 57 cm, Jasleen is the biggest-ever German newborn and, even though she remains in the neonatal care unit, mother and baby are doing well," added the report. The baby's mother reportedly had gestational diabetes.
Despite the baby's huge size, Jasleen apparently still isn't the world's biggest. This, as Guinness Book of Records states that a certain Anna Bates gave birth to a boy who weighed 10.8kg in Ohio in 1879. That baby however died hours after birth.
In 2009, a baby with a whopping weight of 19.2 lbs was reportedly born, via Caesarian section, in North Sumatra, Indonesia.

How to Make Domino’s Thin-Crust Pizza at Home

By  | Shine Food (31072013)

As a New Yorker, I catch a lot of flak when I tell people I like Domino's pizza. Living in a city where some of the best pizza in the country is just around the corner from my apartment, people find it hard to believe that I'd stoop to such a level, not to mention doing so as a person who is deeply passionate about food, cooking, and the quality of ingredients. But I need everyone to hear me out.

It's not that I love Domino's, and that I'd eat anything and everything on their menu. There's one thing in particular that I like from Domino's; one thing and one thing only that makes me confident enough to be able to say, "Yes, I am ordering Domino's for dinner tonight."

That one thing is their thin crust.

The concerning mysteries surrounding the nutrition of the pizza, and, well, some of those judging looks I get every time I admit to eating one, eventually made me want to try to make one at home. I knew it wouldn't be easy, because as I said before, Domino's thin-crust pizza is a distinctively unique dish that only tastes the way it does because it's Domino's, but I decided to give it a try.

I had a little help with my recipe. With research and studying the chemistry of dough and baking, I was able to determine how to get that thin, cracker crust. The sauce, though, is less about structure and more about taste, and when I was doing my research, I learned that our friend Todd Wilbur, expert recipe cloner, had already done some of the legwork for me. Wilbur replicated a Domino's pizza on his show Top Secret Recipe, and to do this he visited Domino's headquarters in Ann Arbor, Mich., and developed a recipe with the help of a food scientist from University of Michigan. In the end, he won the challenge, and fooled one judge in a blind taste test. Luckily for me, he agreed to share his recipe.

It still doesn't taste like Domino's, though - I mean, how can it? - but I'm not too sure that's such a bad thing.

Domino's Thin-Crust Pizza Recipe

INGREDIENTS

For the sauce:

1/2 cup canned, crushed tomatoes
1 cup tomato purée
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon plus 1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 tablespoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground oregano
1/8 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram
Pinch of ground cayenne

For the pizza dough:

2 cups high-gluten bread flour
3/4 cup warm water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, plus more if needed
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried marjoram

DIRECTIONS

For the sauce:

Make the sauce by combining the crushed tomatoes with tomato purée in a blender. Blend on medium speed for 30 seconds. Combine tomato sauce with other sauce ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. When the mixture begins to bubble, reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool, then chill in a covered container until you make your pizza.

For the pizza dough:

Mix the dough together and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight.

Preheat the oven to 500 degrees an hour before you begin assembling the pizza.

Bring the dough to room temperature and roll it out into a very thin, round crust. Dock the dough but using a dough docker or poking it with holes using a fork. Bake the crust for 4 minutes before topping with the rest of the ingredients.

Mix together the cheese and dried herbs. Place on top of sauce and bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.
